TREMORS (1990) Dir. Ron Underwood
TREMORS didn't make its mark when released into cinemas in 1990, but went on to be massive hit on home video and television repeats. It combined 50s monster-movie homage with the 80s action-movie format to produce perfect entertainment. The San Francisco Examiner captured its finely-balanced qualities best when reviewing it as "effectively terrifying when it needs to be, effectively exciting when it needs to be, and effectively hilarious when it needs to be... Tremors may very well be the best horror film, the best action flick, and the best comedy of the year."
Doors open at 23:15 for a pre-show of wormy clips with TREMORS starting at 23:30. If you're a night owl and need even more worms to keep you going, stick around after the film for mystery screenings until the early hours.
